About Me

I am a journalist, editor, musician, and new mother living between Newport, RI and NYC.​

​My bread and butter is storytelling — whether it's writing travel essays, building content strategies, or making music. 
 

Professionally, I have spent my career in the travel editorial space as a journalist, editor, copywriter, and SEO marketer. Over my 10+-year career, I've built expertise across the spectrum of content marketing — from traditional journalism to data-driven strategy. This experience (gained in magazine, brand, and agency environments) has afforded me a deep understanding of what it means to grow a business through content. 

 

I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Connecticut College, and studied at La Sorbonne in Paris. I began my career in travel as an editor at Indagare, where I rose to manage digital, email, and social media content for the brand. Most recently, I served as the Editorial & SEO Manager at Fora Travel, a venture-backed tech startup, having joined in 2022 as an early-stage member of the team. I have contributed to multiple publications including Forbes, Vogue, and Newsweek, and have traveled to five continents and dozens of countries, my favorites being Mexico, South Africa, Morocco, and France.
